In fact, on March 16th Captain Robbie Ward put his party-of-3 on a mess of Speckled Perch (Crappie). They caught 75 keepers by minnow fishing the last four hours of the day (3:00 pm-7:00 pm). This kind of success is the standard for Captain Robbie Ward. Not only has he been hot on the Crappie, but he has the big bass figured out. Robbie’s live-bait bass trips have boated several 5-6lb fish with totals of up to 50 fish a trip. But wait there is more… Captain Robbie has begun scouting for bedding Shellcracker and Bluegill.
