Captain Allen Duke has been catching some good numbers and seems to mix in a couple big fish everyday. Fish are falling prey to both live bait and artificial baits alike, however, it seems as though the live bait bite is a little stronger still. Most trips are ending between 10-12 with a few die hards fishing all day.
The summer is a great time to be on Lake Okeechobee as the numbers can become outrageous with 4 hour trips nearing almost 50+ on occasions. Most trips are seeing 20 – 40 fish on a regular day. Average fish is 2lbs with some quality 6+ lb fish mixing in as well.
