This has been the best crappie season in recent memory with both live bait and artificial trips finding great success. Catching limits hasn’t been a problem, figuring out how many fish you want to clean, has been the problem.
Although the bite has slowed some with the warm weather, trips are still catching 30 – 100 fish per trip. Looking to put some fish in the freezer? Come on down and let’s go crappie fishing!
The bite will carry over through March and will more than likely start to slow down some in mid-April. Don’t wait any longer to book that crappie trip as time is running out.
