What a great day I had getting to fish with Gary and Peter from London for their first ever trip to Lake Okeechobee. The weather made it a little tough with wind gust over 30 mph, however, we managed to catch 25 fish in 6 hours with several fish being huge (just ask Gary as he couldn’t believe it). We laughed and told stories about life experiences and even discussed soccer/football depending on who was talking.
Eventually the wind just became to bad to enjoy fishing but for 6 hours we had a great time catching two fish over 7 lbs and several other good quality fish in the 5 lb range. I truly look forward to getting these two guys back down here on Lake Okeechobee as I don’t think I have laughed that much on a trip before.
