Lake Okeechobee is known as “The Bass Fishing Capital”, however, few people know that Lake Okeechobee is also one of the best places in the United States to duck hunt. Lake Okeechobee has thousands of acres of marshy areas creating the perfect habitat for these waterfowl. With an abundance of both divers and puddle ducks, every hunter from the beginner to the expert will be sure to have a great experience.
Duck hunts will be limited to two hunters per boat, with morning and afternoon trips both available. The morning hunts cost $200 per hunter and the afternoon hunts cost $100 per hunter. I will tell you that the mornings hunts are usually better and spots will fill up fast. The cost of the trip covers your guide, boat, and transportation from Fast Break Bait and Tackle to the boat ramp. Each hunter will be responsible for providing their own gun, ammo, and license. Ammo and license can both be bought at Fast Break Bait and Tackle the morning or afternoon of your hunt.
