I fished with Alan Newcomb and his wife today for a morning of a little bass fishing and pan fishing. We found success early with bass pushing wild shiners to the top of the water making them jump all around before creating a big explosion on the surface. After some fun bass fishing we headed to catch some bluegill and shellcracker. With recent weather the main area I had been catching them in was dirty and a few other areas had empty beds, with just a few stragglers around. We moved into one of the local canals to salvage the day with a few nice bluegill and lot’s of small bluegill. Expect to see the bluegill and shellcracker bite to really get good here in just a few days. Another awesome day on the water!!!!
Check out a couple of the bass Alan caught.
