What an amazing week of fishing. This week I had the pleasure of fishing with Frank and Robert from Melbourne, FL and we caught the fire out of them. We fished two half days and the fishing was about as good as you could ask. Day 1 Frank caught a 9.01 lb toad as we like to call the monsters we catch here on Lake Okeechobee. Day 2 Robert caught a 7.38 lb toad. Day 1 we caught 30 fish with the average weight being 3-4 lbs, with several 5 lb fish. Day 2 we caught 43 fish with the average being a little smaller but still plenty of quality of fish with the average fish being 2-3 lbs with 4 or 5 fish over 5 lbs.
W had a great two days with lot’s of quality fish. Can’t wait to get these guys back down here and catch some more giant Lake Okeechobee bass. It’s always nice to have clients come and leave as good friends. Thanks for a great trip with some great new friends. Looking forward to all the upcoming trips for the month of December.
