Recent trip with David Raup and the “kids” from New Jersey was a great success considering the weather. Strong winds and cool weather made for somewhat of a slow bite to start off but after about 30 minutes of fishing the fish started to feed. We had 2 boats with Nikki and Mike in my boat while Captain Bobby Adams had David and his oldest daughter in his boat. Nikki and Mike won with the most fish 37 while Captain Bobby’s boat caught 34. Both boats caught a good number of fish and a few nice fish mixed in as well. We had a great day on the water and can’t wait to have them back next year.
I would encourage everyone visiting places in Orlando on vacation to take a day off from the hustle and bustle of theme parks and huge crowds to make a day down here in Okeechobee Florida. Whether it be to just simply ride around the lake and look at wildlife or catch some fish, we have something for everyone. David did this with his family while visiting Orlando from New Jersey and it was lot’s of fun.
