The east side of Lake Okeechobee has been producing several bigger schooling fish early in the morning. These fish have been moving daily but have been concentrated on points between Henry Creek and J&S. Fish have been around 2-2.5 lbs. average, with the occasional 4-6 pounder. Look for shad flickering just outside the Kissimmee grass. Once the morning bite has slowed down, slow down with it. Fish a gambler ace in a blueberry color, casting into the holes in the Kissimmee grass and buggy whips.
